Subtle Mind

I tried this exercise and found it to be easier than the last one. I was able to sit on my back deck and listen to the birds around while focusing on my breathing. When I noticed that my mind was chattering and not focusing on the birds I simply was able to redirect it. I found this to be so relaxing. This is something that I can do most days. My goal to to do this at least once a day. It only takes 5 minutes out of my time and this is something that I need. I loved this exercise.

  1. The subtle mind approach sounds wonderful~~`you explained it so easily, I find that learning to maintain my mental thought process can give me a form of relaxation full of peace. If we can accomplish the ability to tune out mental chatter, we can train our minds to find healing through medtitation and prayer. your classmate, angie GOOD JOB ON YOUR POST!!!

  2. Tiffany,
The subtle mind is a great exercise. I think that if you do everyday you will notice a difference in the direction of your thoughts. I don't think that you will have mindless chatter! Good luck with it!
